Curriculum
A rich and varied curriculum is delivered, meeting National Curriculum requirements. Enrichment activities are delivered in an interactive and stimulating manner.
In addition to Numeracy, Literacy, Science and ICT teaching, pupils respond positively to specialist teachers for PE, Music and The Arts. Links with local sports clubs and facilities are well established. Also available is a comprehensive programme of modern foreign languages, including French, Spanish and German.
OFSTED SAID ... "Pupils are inspired and enthused by the good quality of teaching which encourages them to make good progress."
Religious Education creates an effective balance between high standards of teaching and learning and its influence on the school's ethos, values and behaviour. Church Inspection Team commented, "Staff are knowledgable and their attitudes effectively promote children's learning, supported, by discussion and sharing."
