Bosbury C.E. Primary School
Partnership

Bosbury is a Church of England Primary School. There is a strong Christian ethos of care and support for individuals throughout the whole school community. Pupils speak of the way the school welcomes them, values them and listens to their views.

Community partnerships are valued with the school providing opportunities to engage families and members of the community in whole school events. Parents and families are welcomed into the school; parents feel able to chat informally to approachable staff as well as attend regular consultation evenings, class assemblies, performances and afternoons to work alongside their child.

OFSTED SAID ... "The school’s work is recognised and talked about with pride in the local community. As a result, several families from outside the catchment area have moved their children to the school and they are delighted with how quickly they have settled in and made progress."

'Come and Work with Your Child', 'Family Learning' and 'Gardening Days' are well established events aimed at sharing in the success of every child. There is a well established parent and teacher association: 'Friends of Bosbury School', who host many popular events for both families and pupils to raise extra funds for the school.

OFSTED SAID ... "The school’s induction programme gives children a successful start in the Reception Year. The good quality teaching in the Reception Year is linked very well to children’s interests and helps to develop their curiosity and desire to learn. The excellent curriculum ensures that children make good progress so that, by the end of the Foundation Stage, they are well prepared for the start of Key Stage 1."
