Friends of Bosbury School (FOBS)

Parents and members of our local community have a key role in our school. They are responsible for raising significant funds, organising events and giving our pupils the opportunities to experience a wide range of additional activities.

Friends of Bosbury School (FOBS) are the team of volunteer parents who schedule, organise and publicise a timetable of fundraising activities and events for our families.

Our Summer Fair is the most fun - and challenging - event the team organises each summer, with other regular events including school children's discos, parents' quiz nights, children's film nights, a spring plant sale, family Bingo evenings, and of course our magical festive Christmas Fair held in the beautiful setting of Bosbury Holy Trinity Church.

The money raised by FOBS is used to support all of the children who attend Bosbury School through funding the cost of:

♥ Playground play equipment

♥ Forest School resources and equipment

♥ New books for each classroom's reading corners

♥ Prizes for the weekly reading raffle

♥ Programmable Rugged Robots for Computing lessons

♥ Sports team kits

♥ Musical instruments

♥ A brand new school pond!

YOUR SCHOOL LOTTERY FUNDRAISING SCHEME

Bosbury CE Primary School is now part of the Your School Lottery fundraising scheme. Simply log into the site by clicking on the right-hand logo, search for Bosbury School and you can buy tickets at a cost of just £1.00 each for a chance to win a monthly jackpot prize of £25,000! Wowsers!

There is a guaranteed monthly prize of £5.70 for each participating school for the ticket which has six numbers most closely matching those drawn out of the hat, with the guaranteed prize amount increasing as more tickets are sold.

As a school, we currently only have 19 players (£395) out of our target of 50 (£1,040), so the more new tickets we sell, the better! All proceeds go towards helping to fund equipment and activities for the children of Bosbury School. Thank you, and good luck!

FATHER'S DAY POP-UP STALL

Our Father's Day Pop-Up stall held in the school library/foyer was a great success, offering each class in turn a chance to purchase some lovely gifts for their daddies and grandads throughout the morning, all specially bagged up ready for Father's Day. A big thank you to FOBS member Mrs. Kim Hathaway for organising the sale.

EASTER EGG COLOURING COMPETITION WINNERS!

An eggs-tremely big well done to the five eggs-cellent (sorry!) artists shown below, who were the winners of this year's FOBS Easter Egg Colouring Competition! The FOBS Easter Bunny judges were eggs-tremely impressed with the eggs-ceptional (sorry, last one now!) levels of colour and creativity on show!
