Class 3's Den-Building Extravaganza!
School trips may continue to be sadly put on hold at present due to the ongoing pandemic, but this didn't stop Class 3 from going on their very own spelunking adventure rather closer to home on Friday as a huge exciting artificial cave complex appeared in their own classroom!
The children were extremely excited to go exploring inside the caverns which had engulfed their classroom for the day, also taking inspiration from their den-building skills taught to them by Miss Cooke up at forest school since the return to school following the COVID-19 closure period to make their very own min-sized teepee-shaped dens to take home with them!
Also as part of their historical class project on the Stone, Iron and Bronze ages, the very creative Class 3 also produced some wonderful pieces of authentic cave art out of clay.
Not to be outdone, Wilf the School Dog and Mrs. Christopherson also created a huge den for Thrive children to use in the Rainbow Room, which proved to be equally as popular!
Well done Class 3, Mrs. Dark, Mrs. Christopherson and Wilf for showing that you don't have to travel very far at all to experience some extremely exciting and challenging adventures at Bosbury!
