CLUBS ARE FINALLY BACK FOR THE SUMMER TERM!
After having to put our clubs on hold yet again last term due to Covid-19 continuing to cause havoc at Bosbury School, we are absolutely delighted to be able to finally bring back our ever-popular after school activities for what we hope will be the WHOLE of the Summer Term!
A handy table showing all of the clubs on offer this term together with whether they are on or off this week can be found below. Please note that there is no choir on Friday 17th June. Our lucky choir are visiting the Three Counties on this date to perform on the church stage at 10:30am, before getting to spend a few hours exploring the show ground!
Gardening club is also cancelled on Thursday 26th May.
It's been a while since we've been running clubs at full capacity again, so here is a quick reminder of our after school club rules which we kindly ask all parents, carers and pupils to follow in order to ensure that our pupils are kept as safe as possible:
⇒ Children should not drop out from a club unless the school receives a legitimate reason in writing from parents.
⇒ Children must go to the club they originally signed up for, and are not permitted to change their mind and attend a different club during that term.
⇒ Parents MUST inform the school office if their child is going to miss a club that week for whatever reason.
⇒ If a parent is persistently late in collecting a child from an after school club (all clubs finish promptly at 4:00pm unless otherwise stated in the table below), the child will unfortunately have to leave the club. Our staff remain very busy after school attending meetings, preparing lessons and marking work ready for the next day, and do not have time to supervise children after 3:15pm.
⇒ A child who exhibits persistently poor behavior will be asked to leave the club.
⇒ Key Stage 2 children will only be allowed to walk home alone after a club has taken place if a parent or carer has previously completed a walking home form - these are available from Mrs. Bentley in the school office.
⇒ Children who are attending JITBX tea club on the day of their after school club must be ready to be collected by JITBX staff to be taken either over to Leadon Lodge at 4:00pm.
⇒ Children will need PE kit if attending a sports club that day. Children already in PE kit from PE lessons earlier in the day can simply stay in their kit. Trainers should be in school at all times.
