Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) gives you the right to request recorded information held by our school.
Making a request
To make a valid request, you must:
- Submit your request in writing (by letter or email)
- Include your real name
- Provide an address for correspondence (postal or email address)
- Describe the information you are requesting

Our response
We will respond to your request within 20 school days (or 60 working days if that's sooner).
We can only provide information that we hold in recorded form. If we don't hold the information you've requested, we will let you know in writing.
Charges
If the cost of complying with your request is under £450, we can only recover communication costs such as photocopying, printing or postage. If the cost exceeds £450, we may charge for the full cost of compliance, including staff time.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our response to your Freedom of Information request, you can request an internal review. If you remain dissatisfied, you can make a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
